Circulating Pumps

Circulating Pumps

We carry a wide selection of Ivar high performance stainless steel manifolds made in Italy with high quality components. They feature supply and return isolator valves, air flow vents for purging and flow regulators for each circuit. Available from 2 to 12 ports with standard 1" inlet fittings and 1/2"pex compression fittings (also available in 3/4"). Can be easily upgraded with electric actuators.

Circulating Pumps

We carry a variety of Grundfos circulating pumps including the Alpha 2 and the UPS26-99FC in both 120 and 240V ranging from 0 to 21GPM. Grundfos Pumps is a world leading manufacturer of circulating pump which are virtually silent and consume around 50% less electricity than other pumps. They feature 3 speeds and AUTOADAPT, which automatically sets pump speed depending on system heating demand.

Heat Load and Radiant Floor Design

Heat Load and Radiant Floor Design

Whether you are building a new home or have decided to upgrade your homes heating system we highly recommend having a heat load performed to determine what size of heating unit will work best for you. We also can assist you with a professional radiant floor heat design to ensure your radiant floor will provide you with years of comfort and energy savings.

Radiant Floor Cooling

Another advantage of hydronic radiant floor heating is that the system can also be used for cooling as well with proper design and components. With the use of a Resol dewpoint sensor and 3 way mixing valve the cooling fluid temperature can be adjusted based on the ambient room temperature to prevent the lines from producing condensation in the floor. Radiant floor cooling can save you up to 30% on your cooling electricity bill versus a traditional forced air AC coil as a circulating pump uses just 10% of the power a forced air fan will use.

PHNIX Fan Coils

PHNIX fan coils are an excellent option to consider when heating your home with a hydronic heat pump. They are specifically designed to heat your home using the low operating temperature of the Arctic Heat Pump(120 degrees Fahrenheit) but with the flip of a switch can also provide refreshing AC in the summer months. They are very quiet (down to 24 decibels), require only 12 watts to run and are ultra thin, easy to install and aesthetically pleasing making them a very versatile option.

PHNIX fan coils are available in 5 different models: 025V(4600BTU/H), 040V(8500BTU/H), 060V(11,400BTU/H), 080V(14,600BTU/H) and the 100V(17,800BTU/H). They can be either floor mounted, wall mounted or can even be mounted on the ceiling. At just over 5 inches deep the are very compact, allowing them to be placed just about anywhere.

Air Handler Features

Air Handler Features

The Arctic Air Handler is engineered to work with the low operating temperatures of modern high efficiency hydronic systems such as the Arctic Heat Pumps to replace a central air heating system. The air handler uses a 6 row copper and aluminum heat exchanger than is nearly 400% larger than conventional central air heat exchangers. It also features a variable frequency drive controller and 3 phase motor to reduce noise and energy consumption
